Heat and moisture management yarn technology
One of the core yarns used with this yarn system, is a Oasis SAF® spun yarn. This removes perspiration away from the skin. When wet, the fibre would also increase its thermal conductivity assisting the movement of heat from hot spots. A multi-composite yarn design structure encases the Oasis SAF® providing significant durability and washable properties. This technology has significant application potential, particularly in undergarments offering heat and moisture management properties. Key features are the maintenance of dry-feel comfort and associated cooling benefits. These are a result of the yarns superior directional heat and fluid transfer properties.
